Established in 1989 on initiative of the European Commission the Euro Info Centre EIC Trier) is hosted by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Trier and the Chamber of Crafts Trier. EIC Trier supports enterprises in Rhineland-Palatinate to develop new markets in Europe, to win public tenders and to initiate suitable international co-operations. In its function as official liaise office for research and technology (Innovation Relay Centre) EIC Trier gives advice regarding the Union’s main funding instruments and helps to commercialise technological innovations in Europe.
